John Lasseter

Lasseter is a highly famous American, Pixar studio artist. He obtained a job as an animator at Walt Disney feature animation. John Lasseter believes in order to be a great animator you need to be a child who just never grows up and have a passion for toys! John once asked himself; 'what makes a pencil line become a character?' after creating characters like Luxo Junior, Tiny Toy, Toy Story and more recently the Cars animations he revealed the answer is principle development over years.
He is probably most well known for cartoon animation Toy Story. In particular his most recent; Toy Story 3 consisted of around 120,000 story boards and took him 6 months just to draw them, not including the initial ideas and the further development and creation of the film itself.
